about

I was a fan of his first. He was an influence of mine and I was even lucky enough to have made music with him for almost a year. There was a small collection of songs we worked on together in our brief time collaborating. This was one of my favorites. I hope that this rendition of his song would make him happy. Kind of like what we might sound like if we were making music together today. I was fortunate to know a very good side of Paul Decolator and proud to be his friend.

lyrics

The letters, crayola colored, declarations of some kind of emotion.
They don't come no more
And though I knew the call would cost too much
I didn't know my correspondence wasn't worth a single postage stamp
So I pulled a littler harder on my
Morning Cigarette

Went to a party last night, not one word was spoken that enriched my life in the least
Normally that's ok, except I really wanted to meet someone
So I took another drag on my
Morning Cigarette

Talking heads keep talking
Talking heads can choke
On their constitution and on my second hand smoke
From my
Morning Cigarette

Vagrant wants some spare change
I want spare change too
Exactly 2.25
So I can load up on my daily rations of cancer sticks and bile
And blow you away

about

Gay Elvis Long Branch, New Jersey

My grandfather used to refer to singing as, "carrying a tune". I think that's along the lines of what I do. Unfortunately, I drop it several times between point A and point B.
